The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) is a global standard for the good governance of oil, gas and mineral resources. Uganda was admitted to the EITI on 12th August 2020 and by virtue of becoming a member, Uganda commited to disclose information along its extractive industry value chain. This is Uganda's first EITI report and it covers the period for the Financial year 2019/20.
